Fondazione Sanità e Ricerca complies with the quality management system standards UNI EN ISO 9001:2015.  The quality policy is consistent with our fundamental principle to ‘provide excellent person-centred care and ensure that patients are treated with respect and dignity’ by means of equity, propriety, continuity of care, efficiency and perceived quality.

Perceived Quality

Patients and their families may file complaints and/or suggestions to improve care by completing a specific form (form. 01/22 ‘complaint, suggestion, praise’), which may be downloaded from www.fondazionesanitaericerca.it in the opinions section.  Hard copies are available in the reception.

The service quality and customer satisfaction questionnaire included in the documentation delivered to patients’ homes is also available in the bedrooms.  In order to improve the quality of the services provided in the facility, the Foundation asks users to express their opinion.

The equipment used to provide services complies with the laws and regulations currently in force. The specialists provide health care in suitable premises using equipment suitable for the intended purpose.  

Members of staff are trained to ensure the safety of users in case of emergencies and the need to evacuate the building in compliance with legislative decree 81/2008.

Transparency and Privacy

Employees are obliged to keep patient health information and other personal information strictly confidential.  The Data Protection Act regulates the facility’s processing of patients’ personal data.   

In compliance with legislative Decree 196/2003 and GDPR 2016/679, the data controller, Fondazione Sanità e Ricerca, has appointed the person in charge of data protection as well as the persons in charge of data processing according to the units.  Procedures, appointments and compliance with the aforementioned law are described in the annual Privacy Implementation Document.
