Dignity: The quality or state of being worthy of esteem and respect; inherent nobility and worth.






In order to ensure that patients are treated with respect and dignity respect, society must respect their right of free will. However, in some circumstances this right may not be guaranteed.

Our Code of Ethics sets out and describes the Foundation’s conduct and obligations towards others.

Fondazione Sanità e Ricerca focuses on the human factors, promoting the professional development of staff, which is a key asset to the success of our mission, and ensures compliance the laws on the protection of privacy and health and safety at work.


The Foundation’s mission mainly aims to meet the patients needs and requires attention to the guiding principles of the Code of Ethics, which gave rise to the moral guidelines that must inspire the Foundation’s activities.

In particular:

  • Members of the Board of Directors must bear in mind the principles and values in the Code of Ethics when establishing the corporate objectives;

 

  • Directors must give substance to the principles and values contained in the Code of Ethics and the Organizational Structure and undertake the duties therein specified both internally and externally when third parties are involved, building trust, unity and team spirit.   

 

  • All Staff must comply with to the principles, values, aims and commitments contained in this Code of Ethics
